Cars and Songs at Gippsland Vehicle Collection – From 19th of March 2023 till end of June 2023

How many times have you sung along to Joni Mitchell’s “Big Yellow Taxi” or heard a cover band playing the Eagles “Takin it Easy”?

This display will blend the many different styles of collectable vehicles with the history of the music industry. It will take you and our visitors through over 60 years of pop culture and music milestones as they relate to cars and trucks we've owned and driven. This unique display breaks new ground in having both vehicle and music history showcased in the one display.  

Come for a walk down memory lane with us, as we show you the cars that are written about by some of the biggest names in the music industry.

Music icons such as Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, the Beach Boys, Prince and Steve Earle are all featured.

Australian artists such as Men at Work, Australian Crawl, Ol’55 and Jimmy Barnes will have you remembering the heady days of pub rock and what you rode in to get to the gig.

So, grab Mustang Sally, jump in that Fried Out Kombi and motor down the Freeway of Love to our Cars and Songs display opening on:
