Drive to the Museum of Vehicle Evolution – MOVE

  • Hunters Tryst Beveridge Pub 9 Old Hume Highway Beveridge, Victoria Australia (map)

An opportunity to get out and visit another great car museum we have in Victoria, the MOVE has a collection of cars as well as buses and motorbikes, the Kenworth dealer truck pavilion, Farren bicycle collection, Clayton Gramophones, telephones and radio and the Furphy Museum.

First opened as Shepparton Motor Museum and Collectibles in 2011 and housing 50-60 cars, the museum has since expanded moving to brand new purpose built facilities and the collection growing beyond cars. More information is available at https://www.moveshepparton.com.au/. The museum complex also includes a café, plant nursery, antique and collectables shop and the Chocolate Apple factory.

We’ll meet at the Beveridge pub, located between Craigieburn and Wallan. Then we’ll head up the Hume Freeway to the Goulburn Valley Highway just past Seymour. All up it’s about a 70 minute drive from Beveridge to Kiala where we’ll grab lunch at the Milestone Café that’s part of the MOVE complex before heading into the museum.
